At Ekone, we use strictly farm raised Pacific Oysters for our shucked products. Oysters are harvested from Willapa Bay and brought to our processing facility in Bay Center, WA. Our facility stores the live oysters in our shell-stock coolers at 45° F. Oysters are shucked and then the meats are washed in refrigerated water. The meats are sorted by hand for size and quality.
We currently pack yearlings, extra smalls, smalls, mediums and a few large oysters. Packing sizes include 8, 10, 16, 32 and 64 oz. containers. Shucked oysters are typically shipped the same day they are opened so customers get the freshest possible oysters when they buy direct from us!
