At Ekone, we use strictly farmed raised Pacific oysters for our shucked products. Oysters are harvested from Willapa Bay and brought to our processing facility in Bay Center. Our facility stores the live oysters in our shellstock coolers at 45°F. Oysters are then shucked by hand and washed in refrigerated water. They are sorted by hand for size and quality.
We pack yearlings, xsmalls, smalls, mediums and large. Shucked oysters are typically shipped the same day they are opened, so customers get the freshest possible oysters when they buy direct from Ekone.
